About Mars

Mars knows that fashion is a transformational tool. Changing your life can be as easy as changing your clothes.

Mars’ belief in style’s transformative power began when she was 5 years old, playing “The Mop” in a youth production of Beauty and the Beast. The moment she tied white fabric pieces into her cornrows and put on the tasseled skirt, she could fearlessly twirl across the stage in front of a packed audience.

This led to borrowing her mother’s clothing for school events so she had the courage to talk to her crush, lending velvet coats to actors playing Shakespearean kings, and designing entire wardrobes for alter egos that enabled her to be successful at work.

Her background experience combines systematic fashion knowledge (years of research into systems created by David Kibbe and David Zyla), psychological work (a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and high familiarity with Myers-Briggs and the enneagram), and a bit of magic (in-depth astrology knowledge and oracular tarot readings).
